Nicole was born in Greenwich, Connecticut, as a first-generation Croatian-American. Growing up in a bilingual household, she developed an early appreciation for language, culture, and the value of hard work—all of which continue to shape her creative approach today.
A graduate of Sacred Heart University with a BA in Graphic Design, Nicole has spent over two decades working in both agency and in-house environments. Her experience spans a wide range of creative and marketing roles, where she has led the development of thoughtful, brand-driven content across print, digital, and social platforms. From directing international photo shoots to designing 300-page catalogs and leading visual direction for Fortune 500 brands, Nicole brings a hands-on, detail-oriented mindset to every project.
But beyond her professional experience, Nicole is also a lifelong maker. Whether stitching a new quilt, capturing action shots on the sidelines (see her work at blesssportsphotos.com), or creating hand-crafted gifts for friends and family, she finds joy in the tactile, the visual, and the deeply personal act of making. Her passion for quilting and textiles has strengthened her design intuition—teaching her patience, problem-solving, and how to see beauty in both the process and the final product.
